This website is aimed at being a comprehensive study guide for the theory of making revolution that is known as Maoism or Marxism-Leninism-Maoism, previously known as Marxism-Leninism-Mao Zedong Thought. Maoism is the development of Marxism (or Marxism-Leninism) in the era of the restoration of capitalism in formerly socialist states.
The name of the theory refers to its historical teachers - the name functions as a way to guide the revolutionary world movement out of ideological and political confusion. This confusion arose due to the defeats of the revolutionary forces within the communist parties of socialist countries such as China and the Soviet Union. These defeats were caused primarily by a lack of sufficient awareness of the reality of the socialist historical period: after the conquest of state power, the class struggle against the capitalist class continues and finds its sharpest point of conflict within the communist party itself.
It was the class struggle in previously socialist China during the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution (GPCR) - in which Mao Zedong led the masses in a revolution to overthrow the capitalists within the Communist Party of China - that developed this understanding to the level of theoretical significance by having it confirmed in practice. The Cultural Revolution preserved the revolution for a decade until its defeat that resulted in China reverting to capitalist rule under a communist mask.
The experience of the GPCR is demonized and buried in today's capitalist China, but its lessons are studied and applied by the leaders of the new wave of the world socialist revolution. Their experiences and lessons will also be included in this guide as their revolutionary situations develop.
The point of revolutionary theory is to apply it in practice in order to make revolution. This website aims to provide a foundation of the most advanced revolutionary theory available, so it can serve as a guide to action for aspiring revolutionaries.
